Boost Your Self-Worth- Guided Meditation-from Kaia

Self-worth can so often feel like a fickle thing — readily available when we’re doing well and nowhere to be found in the times when we need the confidence. For some of us, its elusiveness may have something to do with how we value ourselves.

It may seem commonplace in today's goal-driven society to combine one's own deservingness with external elements like career successes, money gains, or even mistakes and setbacks. In actuality, connecting these two things together is what ultimately causes an unstable feeling of self-worth because our value naturally rises and falls in line with life's inevitable ups and downs.

We can all maintain a strong feeling of self-worth, but doing so takes time and effort to separate from outside influences and reassemble it from the inside. However, with time and with a healthy shift of perspective, we can learn to value who we are without regard to our accomplishments, social standing, or the opinions of others.
