Sharing 2 FREE resources that may be of interest to you and those whom you support.

Body Brave is located in Hamilton and offers both group and 1:1 virtual support around all types of Disordered Eating.
 
They offer treatment, training and education.

 

We welcome all bodies and are weight inclusive and proudly 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly. Our services are all virtual and available for people aged 17+, free of charge or covered by OHIP.”

Body Peace Canada
Body Brave is collaborating with Eating Disorders Nova Scotia to offer immediate free Canada-wide access to online peer support for anyone 14+ who is struggling with an eating disorder or who is concerned about their relationship with food, their body or exercise. The initiative, called Body Peace Canada, includes: 

  • Peer support connecting individuals with mentors with lived experience of eating disorders and recovery  
  • Drop-in groups, including focused groups for youth, trans, two-spirit and non-binary folks and those who are 40+  
  • Self-directed learning materials to support recovery, including literature, videos and reflections to use at one’s own pace
