PEACE-Time to Connect for Women - March 2 (Oakville-Free -Highly Recommended)

Hello ladies! I hope you are all well!

Our next "Time to Connect" for women is this Monday, March 2nd at 7:00pm.

This time together is simply a space to reconnect with ourselves, and to feel seen, heard and understood through connections with other women who want to support and empower each other in our journeys. Come as you are. Share if you want. Listen if you need. No pressure. No judgement. Just connection, understanding, and a sense of belonging.

I have attached the women's and mom's Time to Connect flyers. Please feel free to share these opportunities with other women!!

If you haven't registered already, you can click here to register:  REGISTER HERE

I look forward to connecting with you!

Warm regards and PEACE to you,

Capillary Wave Community for Women Feb 24th & 26th-Burlington -Highly Recommended (Men's Group info also attached)

It's February 23 - that in-between season. The light is staying a little longer. The air feels different. We're not in full bloom yet, but we can sense it coming.
Almost as if spring reminds us that growth doesn't happen loudly. It happens steadily. Under the surface. In the small decisions to keep showing up.

That's what this community is built on.

As we move toward a new season, we're also preparing for something powerful: our upcoming fundraiser, SuperDads & Sidekicks. Every dollar raised goes directly back into Capillary Wave Community programs. Real support, Real conversations, Real spaces where people can exhale and not pretend they're fine.

📣We're looking for volunteers for upcoming events - women who want to be a part of something meaningful, who believe that community mental health support should be accessible, and who are willing to help us build what doesn't yet exist everywhere.
To become a Capillary Wave Volunteer~

Please use this link to register for all of Capillary Wave Events, Peer-to-Peer in-person support groups, current workshop offerings, and to get your tickets for our upcoming fundraiser ~ https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/organizations/capillary-wave-community-for-men

If you know of anyone that is looking for extra support, a space to be heard, or just wanting to make connections, please share this link for new membership with them.

If this season feels like one of change for you, maybe this is part of it.
New light. New growth. New impact.

Have an amazing week ðŸ’™

Gratefully,
Tanya Cornwallis

Because heroes start at home

SuperDads & Sidekicks is a family-friendly celebration honouring the everyday heroes in our lives — dads and the children who look up to them.

This interactive event invites fathers, kids, and families to step into a world of fun, imagination, and connection.

With costumed superheroes, balloon creations, kid-friendly activities, and plenty of photo-worthy moments, children get to meet their heroes — while dads are reminded that their greatest superpower is simply showing up. There will be a raffle with tickets available for purchase for your chance to win amazing prizes anywhere from Raptors/Blue Jay tickets to RMT massages and Hair Salon Gift Baskets. We will also have 50/50 tickets available for purchase. Children have free entry to the event. Each purchase of a admission ticket, you will receive 5 complimentary tickets for the raffle.

At its heart, SuperDads & Sidekicks is about strengthening bonds, sparking conversations, and celebrating the powerful role fathers play in shaping confident, resilient kids. It runs alongside our charity poker tournament, All-In for Conversation, reinforcing a shared message: strong families and strong communities begin with connection.

Whether you’re wearing a cape or holding a sidekick’s hand, this is a day to laugh, play, and remember — heroes don’t start in comic books. They start at home.
