Life doesn't always give us a heads-up before things shift. Plans change, energy changes, priorities change—and sometimes we're left trying to catch up while holding everything together. This week is about adjusting without judging yourself, including the Capillary Wave Community. It's okay if things don't look the way you expected-they're still moving forward. That being said,.....As you all know, we have been offering the Thursday evening in-person support sessions, "Conversations & Connections," for a while now. We have been tracking attendance and feel there isn't demand for this day of the week. We no longer offer Thursday evenings, instead we are offering Monday evenings at 600 Brant St from 6:30-8:30 pm. We are also changing the time for the Tuesday evening group to 6:30-8:30 pm Starting April 7, 2026

Now...to the fun stuff---
The hosts are incredibly gracious for offering discounted tickets to members of Capillary. Enter "Capillary Wave 2026" for 50% off. Below is the ad for the event. Come on out and let's get a little Scottish. Most people were never taught how to deal with grief—we were taught to push through it, ignore it, or carry it quietly. The truth is, we live in a world that doesn’t understand grief very well. There’s still a lot of stigma, confusion, and pressure to “be strong,” which leaves many men feeling stuck, isolated, or misunderstood when they’re going through loss.
This workshop is about changing that.
We’re creating a space where we can better understand what grief actually is—not just from losing someone, but from the many other losses we experience in life: relationships, identity, purpose, health, and more. We’ll break down the myths around grief, talk honestly about how it shows up for us, and explore practical ways to deal with it without feeling weak or alone.
You’ll walk away with tools, strategies, and a better understanding of yourself—and maybe even realize you’re not the only one carrying what you’ve been carrying.

Boundaries That Actually Stick: How to Say No Without Guilt
Saying “yes” when you mean “no” drains not just your time, but also your energy, clarity, and sense of self.
In this workshop, Selena Jones, retired grief and trauma therapist turned decluttering coach, will show you how to set clear, respectful boundaries without over-explaining, people-pleasing, or second-guessing yourself.
You’ll learn how to recognize where your boundaries are breaking down, how to communicate them with confidence, and how to handle the discomfort that often comes with change.
This isn’t about becoming rigid or shutting people out, it’s about learning how to stand in your truth, protect your energy, and make decisions that feel right for you.

As you head into your weekend, give yourself permission to pivot where necessary. You don't just have to keep showing up. Again, a huge thank you from the Capillary Wave Community to all of you while these changes occur.
