Capillary Wave Community for Women April 6th & 7th

Hope everyone made it through the Easter weekend-whether it was busy, relaxing, or a bit of both. There's always that slightly "off" feeling after a long weekend, so if today feels slower than usual, you're not the only one.

Thank you to those who attended the "Tartan Day" event this past weekend. Everyone had a great time. I can also attest that I am not a fan of Haggis, but hey, at least I tried it. ðŸ«£

We have a few announcements this morning. There is no Women's Conversation & Connection tonight. We are celebrating our Easter with family this evening.

**Please note the time change for the evening Women's Connection & Conversations has moved to 6:30-8:30pm moving forward.

Upcoming Workshop-
Demystifying Grief and Exploriing Connections
Most people think grief only occurs when we lose a loved one—but it's much more than that. The loss of a job, the loss of identity, loss of purpose, and the loss of what we thought our lives should be. We'll get into how grief actually shows up for women - because it doesn't always look like what people expect. It can affect you mentally, emotionally, and in everyday life. You will also walk away with tools to help you navigate and move forward at your own pace.

Please join us for our "Demystifying Grief and Exploring Connections" workshop on April 7, from 7 @ 901 Guelph Line, Burlington. 7-9 pm

**Boundaries that actually Stick : How to say "NO" without guilt
Boundaries That Actually Stick: How to Say No Without Guilt

Saying “yes” when you mean “no” drains not just your time, but also your energy, clarity, and sense of self.

In this workshop, Selena Jones, retired grief and trauma therapist turned decluttering coach, will show you how to set clear, respectful boundaries without over-explaining, people-pleasing, or second-guessing yourself.

You’ll learn how to recognize where your boundaries are breaking down, how to communicate them with confidence, and how to handle the discomfort that often comes with change.

This isn’t about becoming rigid or shutting people out, it’s about learning how to stand in your truth, protect your energy, and make decisions that feel right for you.

Let's keep this week simple. No big resets, no pressure-just getting back into things in a way that feels doable. One day at a time is more than enough.
Have a great week!🪷
