Capillary Wave Community for Women May 4th & 5th

I hope everyone had a great weekend. This weekend we opened our summer getaway place and held an event at Bronte Creek. It involved a lot of physical activity, which I haven't been used to since closing my family daycare business some time ago.

It made me think: The price of waiting to start taking care of yourself is a debt that never stops compounding.

Consider the women who waited for the "perfect time" to fix her health and follow her ambition. She spent years meticulously maintaining her house while her body grew brittle and her dreams stayed shelved in the basement. One morning, she realized the house was pristine, but she no longer had the strength to walk through the front door. She hadn't avoided risk; she had simply traded the risk of failure for the certainty of regret.

If you don't take the chance, you stay exactly where you are. If you don't take care of yourself, you won't have the capacity to go anywhere else. Neglect is a slow leak—by the time you notice the water, the ship has already sunk.

Choose to act, or choose to fade. Both have a price. Only one has a reward.

Don’t let your life become a pristine house you no longer have the strength to live in. Whether it’s the ambition you’re hesitant to chase or the health you’ve been putting second, choose to step through the door while you still can. Maintain the life, not just the structure. The house may be standing, but it’s the life inside that matters.

Have a great week!

Tanya
