Tapping-Holistic Healing Fair

Tap and Release confusion and agitation

Tap on the side of your hand, and repeat these words with feeling…

Even though, I feel all these emotions and its making me confused, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though, I feel so frustrated because I’m confused about my emotions, I can forgive myself for that.

Even though, I am confused about my emotions and how my energy works, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I release that now.

Now tap on your forehead…

I now release myself from all my frustrating confusion.

Tap on the top of your head…

I now release myself from my confusion.

Tap on the back of your head…

I now release my subconscious mind from holding onto frustration and confusion.

Tap on the sides of your head, above the ears…

I now release my younger self from learning to be frustrated when I’m confused.

Now tap at the corners of your eyes…

I now release myself from everything I’ve seen that causes my confusion.

Tap underneath the nose…

I now release my body from my confusion and frustration.

Tap on the chin…

I now release myself from my habit of feeling confused and frustrated.

Tap on the collar bones…

I now release myself from all my frustration caused by confusion.

Now tap on the heart…

I AM OPEN
I AM CLEAR
I AM WISE
I AM INTELLIGENT
I AM SAFE
and Every day, in every way, things are getting better and better!

…take a deep breath…

Nourishing Yourself From the Inside Out-Holistic Healing Fair

 Why Feeling Your Feelings Matters

September is a season of transition. The air cools, routines shift, and nature begins her graceful process of letting go. Just as the trees release their leaves, we’re invited to release what no longer serves us. But before we can truly let go, there’s one step many of us skip: actually feeling what’s there.

Our Body’s Natural Defenses

When something painful or overwhelming arises, our nervous system steps in to protect us. These protective responses often look like:

  • Going numb or shutting down (freeze)
  • Distracting ourselves or staying busy (flight)
  • Getting defensive or lashing out (fight)
  • Over-pleasing or fixing to avoid conflict (fawn)

These aren’t flaws – they’re survival strategies our bodies learned to keep us safe. In the moment, they shield us from emotions that feel too big to handle. The problem is, when we stay stuck in these patterns, we never actually process the feelings underneath. Over time, those buried emotions can turn into tension, burnout, or even illness.

The Power of Recognition

Healing begins with something simple but powerful: recognition.

When you pause and name what you’re feeling, “I’m anxious,” “I feel lonely,” “I feel overwhelmed” – you interrupt the automatic defense response.

Recognition doesn’t mean diving headfirst into pain. It’s simply saying: “I see you. I feel you. I’m safe to listen now.”

This gentle awareness shifts your nervous system from survival mode into healing mode. Suddenly, the feeling becomes less overwhelming, and the door to true release opens.

Be Gentle With Yourself

As you recognize emotions, breathe with them. Slow, steady breaths signal to your body that it’s safe to soften. Place a hand on your heart, inhale deeply, and exhale as if you’re releasing tension with your breath.

Remember, emotions often have deep roots. A trigger today may be tied to an old wound where you first learned to suppress or protect yourself. Instead of judging, try asking:

  • Where might this feeling have started?
  • Is there a memory or belief shaping the way I respond?

Approach your feelings with curiosity, not criticism, and you’ll begin to untangle the pattern at its root – making space for healthier ways of being.

Naming as the First Step to Healing

Just like you’d tend to a scraped knee, emotional wounds need care too. By naming what’s there, you give your body permission to process it instead of holding it tightly inside.

When we allow ourselves to feel and name emotions, the old coping habits – overworking, over-giving, numbing – begin to loosen their grip. That’s when letting go becomes possible. That’s where nourishment begins.

Small Practices to Try Right Now

Here are gentle ways to support yourself this month:

  1. Two-Minute Check-In – Pause, close your eyes, and ask: “What am I feeling right now?” Even one word brings awareness.
  2. Write It Out – Set a 5-minute timer and let your pen move without editing. Release what your body has been holding.
  3. Breath + Release – Try square breathing: inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4. With each exhale, imagine letting go of something heavy.
  4. Letting Go Ritual – Write down what you’re ready to release. Burn it, rip it up, or return it to the earth.
  5. One Nourishing Swap – Next time stress hits, swap your usual distraction for something soothing: a cup of tea, a stretch, or fresh air.

Reflection Prompts for September

  • What emotion am I resisting right now?
  • If I let myself feel it, what might it teach me?
  • What old pattern is connected to this feeling?
  • What am I ready to release, like the leaves falling this season?

Shaping a Nourished New You

Just as trees let go to prepare for new growth, we too can release the emotions and patterns that no longer serve us. Feeling your feelings isn’t weakness – it’s the foundation of healing.

This September, give yourself permission to pause, name, breathe, and be gentle. In doing so, you create space for a steadier, lighter, and more nourished version of yourself to emerge.

10 Ways to Release What No Longer Serves You

  1. Worry Box
Write your worries on slips of paper and place them in a box, symbolically setting them aside. Open it later only if you choose, or burn/shred the papers at the end of the month.
  2. Journaling for Release
Free-write everything weighing on your mind – uncensored and unedited – then close the notebook or tear the page out as a way of letting it go.
  3. Burn Ritual
Write down a habit, belief, or thought you’re ready to release, then safely burn the paper (or tear it into pieces) as a symbolic act of transformation.
  4. Nature Walk Release
On a walk, find a stone or leaf, infuse it with the energy of what you’re letting go, and place it down somewhere on your path – leaving it with the earth.
  5. Breathwork Release
Inhale deeply, hold the tension you feel, then exhale with a sigh or sound, imagining the heaviness leaving your body with the breath.
  6. Water Release Ritual
Write down what you want to release, then submerge the paper in water (a river, lake, or even a bowl at home), letting it dissolve.
  7. Declutter One Space
Pick a drawer, shelf, or corner and clear it out. As you release physical clutter, imagine you’re also making room in your mind and heart.
  8. Movement Release
Put on music and let your body move freely. Shake, dance, or stretch with the intention of releasing stuck emotions.
  9. Visualization
Close your eyes and picture what you’re ready to release leaving your body as smoke, light, or leaves in the wind, until you feel lighter.
  10. Verbal Release
Speak it out loud – to yourself, a trusted friend, or into the air. Naming what you’re letting go of holds power and helps it loosen its grip.

Releasing isn’t about loss – it’s about freedom. Every time you let go of something that no longer serves you, you’re making room for something far greater to arrive. This September, dare to choose lightness. Dare to put down what feels heavy.

Your future self is waiting on the other side of release.

The September Soul Cleanse-Holistic Healing Fair

Releasing What No Longer Serves

Release doesn’t have to feel heavy. It can be as simple as saying, “I don’t need to carry this anymore.” Maybe it’s the pressure to keep up with everything and everyone. Maybe it’s the endless scrolling that leaves you drained instead of inspired. Maybe it’s an old story you’ve been telling yourself – that you’re not enough, or that you’re behind.

September is the perfect time to set those weights down. Imagine them falling away like autumn leaves, clearing the ground for something new.

Inviting in What Nourishes You

Once you’ve made space, notice what you’re craving instead. This season often calls for grounding – cozy rituals like warm tea, mindful walks, journaling, or reconnecting with your body through simple breathwork.

It may also call for clarity. What matters most to you right now? What deserves your time, energy, and love? Surround yourself with people and practices that uplift you, and let fall’s slower rhythm guide you inward.

A Gentle Reset

The beauty of a Soul Cleanse is that it doesn’t require a dramatic change. It begins with one choice: to release what feels heavy, and to welcome what feels nourishing.

This September, ask yourself:
What one thing can I lovingly let go of? And what one new energy am I ready to invite in?

The answers may surprise you – and they may just change the way you step into this new season.
