May 11th & 12th: We are holding Creative Impressions Art Evenings. Bring your unfinished crafts, paints, canvases, beading-Whatever you would like to work on during Conversation & Connection evenings.

Creative Expression Night: A "Choose Your Own Adventure" Art Session

The Vibe: Think of this as a mental exhale. No instructors, no "right way" to do it, and absolutely no "I’m not an artist" excuses allowed. This is an open-format evening designed to help you quiet the noise of the week through simple, creative play.

What to Expect: We provide the space, the music, and a curated spread of supplies—you provide the intuition. Whether you want to focus on a solo project or chat while you craft, the night is yours.

Available Stations & Supplies:

  • Painting: Acrylics, water-colours, and canvases for those who want to get messy.

  • Journaling: High-quality paper and prompts for those who need to get thoughts out of their head and onto the page.

  • BYO-Project: Have a knitting project, a sketchbook, or a craft gathering dust at home? Bring it along and finish it in good company.

Why Join Us? Science shows that repetitive, creative tasks (like beading or painting) are a natural way to regulate your nervous system. Come for the stress relief, stay for the connection, and leave with something you made with your own two hands.

May 13th (Spencer Smith Park-1400 Lakeshore Road): Whiteagle Stonefish has graciously donated her time to meet with you all to share the Sister Teaching with a tobacco release into the lake.

Please meet under the pavilion near near the willow tree. Dress accordingly as the weather is typically cooler by the lake. Thank you

I’ll leave you with this thought: You aren't a machine that needs to be "fixed" only when it breaks. You’re a person who needs fuel to actually enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build. Consider this your permission slip to do one thing today that is just for you—not because you earned it, but because you need it to remain yourself.

Have a great week everyone!

Gratefully,
