Mental Health Week 2026 is here!
Join CMHA Hamilton as we celebrate our 60th anniversary with a week of free community events. Please feel free to share the attached calendar with your contacts. Here’s a quick look at what’s happening:
Community Kick-Off BBQ | Tuesday May 5th, 2026 | 10 AM – 2 PM (BBQ at 12:00 PM)
- Location: Hamilton City Hall (71 Main St W, Hamilton, ON L8P 1P9) in the Front Courtyard
- Kick off the week with a fun, community-focused event featuring local mental health agencies, information booths, and a free BBQ at noon. Open to everyone—drop by, connect, and enjoy!
The Connection Effect ft. Angie Jaspan, Karen De-Silva & Dave “Chops” Phillips | Wednesday May 6th | 12 PM – 1 PM

Meet, Greet & Connect at eFIT | Thursday May 7th, 2026 | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Location: eFIT Institute (105 Beach Rd, Hamilton, ON L8L 4A1)
- Join us for a relaxed, in-person gathering exploring fun and meaningful ways to connect through movement, wellness, and shared experiences. Free parking available.
Bring Back Hope with Emily O’Brien (Comeback Snacks) | Friday May 8th, 2026 | 9 AM – 10:30 AM
- Location: Hamilton Public Library – Central Branch (55 York Blvd, Hamilton, ON L8N 4E4) in the Hamilton Room
- This event will feature Emily O’Brien, sharing her story of resilience and turning challenges into purpose. This event is free and open to all, however a library card is required to attend!
